Patricia Brady, “The Irish Nightingale”, the Star of Ireland on Parade, is the daughter of Joseph Michael Brady of Scariff, County Clare and Elizabeth D’Arcy Brady (a descendent of the poet, Edmund Burke) of Maryborough, County Laos. Her extraordinary musical gifts were discovered early by her Irish parents who said she could sing a complete melody by age 2!
She was educated at the College of St. Rose, Albany, NY, earning a master’s degree in music. Patricia also received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters, College of St. Rose, Albany, NY, the first Music graduate to be so honored.
Patricia Brady was chosen as one of the “Top 100 Irish Americans of 2000” by Irish America Magazine.
Patricia Brady has performed for audiences worldwide, singing in Irish Festivals from Newport, Rhode Island; Savannah, Georgia; to Feile na Bealtaine, County Kerry; Rose of Tralee Festival, Tralee; Dingle, County Kerry and Beara, West Cork. She has performed opera worldwide from Carnegie Hall, New York to Bucharest, Romania, from Spain to Sicily.
Patricia Brady-Danzig’s devotion to music led her to form PBD Associates, Inc., dedicated to creating opportunities for musicians worldwide, such as scholarships, concerts, and foreign exchange programs. “Ireland on Parade” is produced at a different location every year, each time using the amazing local talent Patricia finds there. Previous IOP’s have been held in Chicago, Virginia, Maryland, and Dublin, Ireland.

The Pipes and Drums of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester Band, founded in May 1973, has won numerous awards since then, including, in 1974, the "Trophy for Musical Excellence"; in 1976, the "Irish World Trophy"; and in 1980 the trophy for "Best Pipe Band”; the "Westchester County Service Award” (twice); in 2000, the “Best Emerald Society Marching Unit.” The Band is honored to wear the Shield of the Garda Siochana. A native of County Clare, Ireland, Guss came to the United States in 1973. Over the past 30 years, Guss and his band have performed at every major venue in the Tri-State area, as well as in Chicago, aboard many cruises, and on tours of Ireland.

Guss Hayes, a remarkable Irish tenor, will join soprano Patricia Brady, "The Irish Nightingale" in duets during the performance.

The O'Rourke Academy of Irish Dance was founded in 1995 by LuAnn O'Rourke. The O’Rourke Irish Dancers have performed traditional Irish dance on ABC’s Good Morning America and the View; In Concert with Eileen Ivers, Tarrytown Music Hall and the Jo Falcon Show, and the Irish Heritage Festival, sponsored by the
American Irish Association of Westchester County. Their numerous awards have included the National Championship Adult Ceili Team.

Bob Stauf is presently Chair of the American Irish Association of Westchester County and, for more than 15 years, Host of the Yonkers Emerald Focus TV Show, a cable television program devoted to all things Irish at home and abroad. Bob is a retired Yonkers public school teacher who began his career at St. Philip Neri in the Bronx after graduating from Fordham Prep and Fordham College. For decades Bob devoted himself to Irish issues, most notably spending many summers exploring the issues that confronted the residents of Ireland. He held the position of Chair of Mayor Zaleski's Committee on Irish affairs, was twice President of the American Irish Association of Westchester, and a frequent officer of the Myles Scully Division of the AOH. Bob has sung (in concert and as soloist) with the Welch Chorale studying under the late Jim Welch and is presently choir member, soloist and cantor at St. Margaret of Cortona under the leadership of John Welch (no
relation). A formerly appointed Council member, Chair of the Yonkers Human Rights Commission, the Mayor's Community Relations Committee, the Yonker Salvation Army Advisory Board, and the Yonkers Community Action Program, Bob is presently known for his involvement in the Yonkers community ever attentive to issues involving social justice and education, and continues to serve as President of the 3rd Precinct Police Community Council for 25 years. He has been a leader in promoting activities at his local parish St. Margaret of Cortona in Riverdale.

David Recca, is an adjunct professor at the Conservatory of Music of Purchase College, SUNY. There he directs the College Chorus, and is the founder/conductor of the Purchase Chamber Singers, in addition to teaching a variety of courses such as Music Theory and Solfege. As a student at Purchase, he received the Theodore Presser Scholar Award in 2004, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Composition and a Performer's Certificate in Vocal Coaching/Accompanying. He is most recently a graduate of the Eastman School of Music with a Master of Music in Choral Conducting, having been granted a full-tuition scholarship.
Mina Kim, pianist, recently made her Weill Hall at the Carnegie Hall debut through Artist International in New York. Currently she is serving on the faculty of the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase College. Ms. Kim has performed across the United States and Asia and is active as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral keyboardist, opera rehearsal pianist and teacher of piano. Ms. Kim earned her Bachelor's Degree at Busan National University as a student of In-il Kim. She received Master's and Artist Diploma from SUNY at Purchase College, where she studied with pianist Stephanie Brown. A native of Busan, South Korea, she resides currently in Scarsdale, NY with her husband Andrew and their son Lucas.

The purpose of this association shall be to fulfill the needs of the community serving the membership on community, civic, social, cultural, educational, athletic and other matters of great interest to the Irish-American community in Westchester County.
